Flex1500 reparatie RX ADL5531 preamp

 

Na vervangen van IC3 de breedband voorversterker en nog een Fet-switch en surpressor  werkt de ontvangst weer als vanouds heel gevoelig  en door de vele bandfilters ook heel selectief dwz geen omroep band IMD, waar bv de Kiwi's last van hebben

Ontvangst was doof door te veel RF  in-koppeling 50MHz   IC3  moest vervangen heel kleine breed band versterker op deze afbeelding van ali express werkte niet! een fake?  Dus toch Farnel via Okaphone  nog goedkoper ook zijn wel oké was een fout om deze bij Ali te bestellen ..flux er op en van onderen verhitten op de via onder het IC de massa zit op het grondvlak... tin met laag smeltpunt gebruiken  maar niet met  Bismut dat gaat corroderen ..







De  "Farnel"ADL5531  heeft rechthoekige zijvlakjes  anders dan de afbeelding op het Farnel blad maar deze werkt wel  het vervangen van dit 3x3mm IC is geen alledaags werk..  uiteindelijk lukte het door met een 450C hete soldeerbout direct onder IC3 op de via naar massa voldoende warmte te krijgen  een minuskul puntje is op het IC  met loep te zien, markeert de positie op de print waar ook een punt is overigens alleen massavlak  en de in uit en compensatie  zijn aangesloten, een aantal zijn NC
De ADL5531 heeft 2 uitvoeringen van de behuizing met schuine vlakjes  en  rechte vlakjes daarvan zitten de alle aansluitingen onder de behuizing die van Aliexpress  had schuine zij-vlakjes is iets gemakkelijker te solderen maar fake dus ...  maar het blijft lastig , ik denk dat dit met infrarood gaat  aan de onderzijde ? maar ja ik heb alleen de soldeerbout .. ik denk dat AD nu alleen de uitvoering met rechte vlakjes maakt, het IC is nog steeds in productie.
Overigens om de documentatie PDF's te bekijken gebruik ik nu de PDF viewer Sumatra dat werkt veel beter dan de anderen die vaak de grote schema's niet op 1 pagina afbeelden , Sumatra doet dat wel

De Flex1500 is een fantastisch compact ontwerp met 5W rf  op 1.8 tem 50MHz  veel fet band switches en de ontvanger is wel beschermd op zijn 3  antenne poorten !   PA , XVTR en XVTRcom RX/TX   met GBLC03 RF surpressors  .een daarvan was ook gesneuveld op de XVTR ingang de was 0 Ohm  deze vervangen  en de PE4259 aan de  "PA poort was ook defect  pin 3 en 5 het verbreek contact van deze minuscule fet-switch moet doorverbonden meten, ook spanning loos deze  PE4259 worden overal bij de bandfilters gebruikt  zo'n 30 stuks "relais" ... plus nog een paar 4 polige fet keuze schakelaars voor de selectie van ontvangst poorten en 20dB verzwakker

2011-01-22 DIAMOND 2m 70cm 1m30 Colinear inside

Having relative poor signals on the local 70cm / 2m channels using this X50 Diamond collinear 70/2  1m antenna at a height of 25m. I needed to investigate what could be wrong. Measuring the cable only 3W is left for the antenna of the 10W 435MHz output from a IC451E The cable is 30m type H100 Z50 10mm outside diameter it is semi air-spaced but has an impossible 4mm² solid CU inner conductor not much air left. I preferred the H43 Z75 cable having lower loss and mechanical better ratio in conductor size. My antenna uses SO239 connector UHF type semi air spaced isolator.  3W should be enough for a comfortable noise free FM signal. But only 27km away at PA0A the signal is weak too weak something must be wrong? I made a simple reference dipole of 2x17cm CU wire. With this dipole the signals where totally worse. SPF5189z Low noise preamp 23cm

 14-4-2018 updated Above the low noise  preamp 50 - 4GHz    ebay  6€ Tested  2 small porto antennas 1 Baofeng UV antenna left   2nd best signal on PI2NOS 2 eBay DIAMONDSRH805S  wide band 144/432/1200  it works for its size as expected 3 piece of wire :   best signal in the setup... Unit under test at workbench. It was stable  50mA  at 5V   few days,  but sudden the current went up to 100mA And i could  no longer adjust it with the negative bias Voltage. The - Voltage went to zero and the SPF input port became low Z. This SPF5189z was broken  no oscillations, no input overload just it broke while i was receiving the PI2NOS 430.125 using a small antenna at the workbench. The specs of  SPF5189z  say it has an internal circuit  regulating the bias current. Replaced . again   with an other of the 5 spare SPF i have. The new one again could be adjuste...

WSJT-x multiple instance

I am testing with 2 instances  WSJT-x  latest version.
