Saturday was the best day with some reasonable runs.  But Sunday running CQ  became pulling a dead horse.  band closed  conveniently  before the Formula 1 race start .

ARRL10M experience

Objective:  For Amateurs worldwide to exchange QSO information with as many stations as possible on the 10 meter band.   28MHz the history of contesting goes back to 1920 with the first Transatlantic radio test transmissions. final result  band closed early Sunday afternoon 1700 local  There was no evening SS peak to USA signals faded early afternoon already. 10m was poor running empty CQ long times but result was better then expected the decay of high band propagation is clear.    cycle 24 had its weak peak 2 years ago. This could have been the last 10m contest with reasonable propagation before we go into the long solar minimum towards cycle 26 Realtime score report rank 8 in single CW high at our band close 17:00 local   The last result for our Veron competition closes 15 -12-2015 The 4 el 10/15 beam Friday  night  up again in relative good wx  a good decision  I have 10dB noise...

ARRL10M contest PA6K JO33ii

operators PA2AWU Arend    PA0O me  PE1BBI Gerard   PC5T Frans rig: 2x 4ele 10m h.b. Arend K3   + K3 backup Acom1000 N1MM+      Lenovo X60 "TEXEL" island location had to be cancelled due to stormy weather. We made it ourself easy and stayed closer to home in a more sheltered place. Stormy wind calmed down Friday afternoon so we could setup the antennas easy. Propagation was still good on 28MHz worldwide except the Pacific and Alaska. This could be the last good propagation ARRL10M for a long time this solar cycle? Band closed sudden at about 1700 local Saturday. Sunday was better 1 hour more propagation until about 1800 local   better USA opening including West coast NW-USA KL7 was the difficult path. site PA0V Nanko

ARRL10M contest
