Top tropo 6M ES

Finally summer inversions are here one day 33/34 to warm C next day 19C..... to cool .. Very dry season again no rain. Friday 28 June  Saturday 29 June Very special tropo  path over land, first time ever to hear 1296.855 EA2TZ IN93BF  1278km 2 mornings around 11 seems to be the best time, in a row copied weak with QSB but Q5 https://youtu.be/HAKrVp3W9o8 EA2TZ 1296.855 MHz tropo But i did not catch a human EA no matter my advertising at KST2ME or cluster Wrong timing  i feel this could be the rare unique occasion . Possible for the EA1/2 it is normal  DX to G over water path but over land it is rare. The 1296 MHz XVTR is direct behind the dish 30W and SKY67151 preamp The i.f.  146 -148 MHz IC706  146.8850 # 1296.8850 A 2way with Guy F2CP at almost the same DX 1248km IN93GJ was in CW and USB 2 beacons  at 23cm not bad EA2TZ 1278km and ES0SHF 1141km But 144.174   EA2XR FT8 a 2-way Earlier besides the 3 LA beacons booming  in and a lot of radar signals Beacons not h

50MHz opening USA

Spotty signals deep QSB signals seen to midnight . The first  serious opening to USA for me this season. Next day  zero propagation and temperature drop from 33C to 19 !

4m 70.151MHz wspr activity

At present G6HSM is the only? regular wspr transmitting station at 70.151 tx schedule xx:x6 Occasional i am also at 70.151MHz tx and rx. 70.151 seems to be the agreed wspr dial frequency and FT8 = 70.154 this fit's in the DL 4m band I was uncertain about receiving performance since the last DX event with the 2 Kazakhstan ham i saw "everyone" working hearing UN7MBH and UN3M here only 2 very weak decodes my antenna seems broken?? 124700 -21 0.4 1105 ~ M0UKR UN7MBH R-23 130300 -15 0.2 1654 ~ CQ UN3M LO61 CQ Zone 17 Good to have a beacon with a weak stable signal within reasonable distance. So i compared with an other 4m HAM  receiving G6HSM and concluded nothing wrong here technical Just i am in JO33HG north and ES tends to be staying more south... Saved a session G6HSM that failed to decode however the trace looked fine to me to decode. Checked save all, don't forget to uncheck it. Every receive wav file takes 352k this one took 2813 k bytes. 8x more i

DAC 1296MHz activity evening

1700-2100 UTC 23cm activity Strong radar S9 QTF N - NE 1296.860MHz  LA1UHG  JO59FB heard first time this year 20 QSO  G4ASR just out of our DAC time . Should have been more but almost all QSO have to be arranged by KST2ME and the network was very slow responding. The cluster will not help as there are no RBN spots as used on shortwave just a few  are spotting the cluster and almost no UHF ham use LOTW  almost 460km / QSO  very high average DX Now my 23cm transverter front-end is in an aluminium box with better cooling 30W direct at the 1m2 dish with SKY67151 vhf design preamp band pass stayed stable with the strong radar pulses. N1MM logger Program upload needs assistance , N1MM does shut no longer shut down automatic before install of upload. I need to close the instance with the task manager to continue update. On both PC's W10 and this W7-64. Strange enough not mentioned in the update report.

4m UN7 zone 17 no copy in zone zero

124700 -21 0.4 1105 ~ M0UKR UN7MBH R-23 130300 -15 0.2 1654 ~ CQ UN3M LO61       CQ Zone 17 the only 2 decodes in JO33hg. The propagation stopped 150km south of me as usual  4m 5ele DK7ZB free radio horizon 22mag i hear al non DX very well on it.. I left the radio frustrated an enjoyed the fine summer weather outside with dinner. later PA3ECU called me thanks Ruud . 5T5PA Johannes was at 50323 FT8 fox mode copied 5T5PA -4 -6 2 channels  and after E31A the 2nd Africa'n DX with Johannes 5T5PA in IL20   great activity our 6m radio hope for Africa.
