 ENVIVO router aangeschaft     Aldi  15€  Geen geld voor een dualband    2.4G  5GHz  dacht ik. Type ENV-1354   AC750   een nieuw model Klein wit past in stopcontact  mooie vormgeving 2 UTP rj45  aansluitingen  LAN   en WLAN/LAN Ik hoopte hiermee als repeater de storende S-UTP kabel te kunnen vervangen. In tegenstelling tot de verhalen vind ik de NL gebruiksaanwijzing en functies duidelijk. Er is een heel klein keuze schakelaartje aan de onderkant voor mode Router of AP repeater. Draadloos inloggen  op 192.168.10.1   of  http://ap.setup repeater mode kiezen  ( alleen zichtbaar als dus dat superkleine schakelaartje op repeater staat) dan zoekt de repeater naar routers binnen bereik. Gisteren Tour de France over de Glandon   en vandaag over de Croix de Fer Dat was toch enigszins bekend gebied door deelname aan le Marmotte  in 2005 een zware bergfiets tocht. Behalve dat het een fantastische ervaring was is het niet zonder risiko. Dan komt de herinnering  weer  met  Klaas Jan Bakker S'avonds op de camping in Bourg d' Oisanse  hoorden we pas over het ongeluk direct na de top van de Glandon in de afdaling  wij waren later zagen een heli en ambulance we wisten niet dat het zo ernstig was en dat een club genoot was omgekomen. Ik mocht altijd graag afdalen en dacht dat ik dat goed kon.. Het klimmen ging me minder goed af. Maar de profs dalen nog veel sneller  90 100km/uur ooit had ik 93 op de teller staan maar daar moest ik nog een mooie afdaling voor uitzoeken en nog flink trappen ook nog om een zo hoog mogelijke beginsnelheid te halen. trappen bij 90km  dat lukte me niet meer  je ogen rollen je haast uit de kass...

56 QSO 6M   including  10 70MHz of the RSGB 4m contest that crossed the CQWW VHF  but the 10 4m  contacts are not accepted for the CQWW The starting time 1800Z Saturday is late for EU But Saturday 6m was open late to EA CN CT so the late start did not cut the QSO number. First GM to 4X  one way     for  me the 2nd  time decoded by 4X1RF To be correct I was running 40W on 4M WSPR does not feature to set the power per band. What a good VHF propagation tool is this WSPR ! Needed a good setup, stable and accurate frequency  drifting < 5Hz /2minutes  and make sure to stay in the 200Hz window.  But that should not be a problem with a modern tranceiver. And most hams already have a PC connected to use oher digimodes RTTY BPSK FSK441 JT65 etc  so why not running  WSPR ? Why re-inventing the wheel by building a classical antique beacon  ?? From last Friday until Thursday 6m was dead as a dead Dodo. The  radio dx excitement had to come from WSPR low bands last week. Knowing that sometimes VP8ALJ could come on 160 or 80m And VK5MR report 80m has been reported in north Finland And trying to repeat a 70MHz decode by 4X1RF. Yesterday evening it was such evening when the 6m decodes became stronger but then WSPR was crashed by Google Chrome somtimes Chrome freezes the PC  also other browser can do that.  4X1RF  4m WSPR  for the first time. After many many 6m reports Thanks Chris for starting listening 4m as the only outside EU 4m DX  WSPR ham. Much more must be possible  9K Gulf area  but not many hams or SWL seems to be interested. SWL WSPR reports are much! appreciated and  direct visible in the online map / database. I like to be QRV when at QRL this wspr mode is by far the best beacon mode and! reporter. It is the only tx/rx mode unattended it can be combined with CW ID to be human decodable. Strange that the 4m web site never mentioned  the existence of WSPR propagation reporter. The best propagation tool ever is not recognized. In stead using their existing radio in WSPR mode Some 4m hams are planning to build high power beacons. Vanuit het  QTH bij  Nanko in Rottum JO33II was weer PI4GN  actief in de juli contest UHF SHF 10GHz  ging als een speer    via regen scatter  een pileup! van OK stations De logging was op 3cm nog op papier  dat is geen probleem met  paar verbindingen op die band meestal. Maar nu ging het  nog beter dan 23 !  Volgende keer toch maar een logger ? 6m and 4m Radio is quiet after a period of huge ES  that's ended last Friday night. First I was not being heard by UT1FG/MM from FL69 56 in chat with KP4 one of those evenings evening nothing seemed to work.  What power levels are they running at the other side? 5-10 kW?     I quit   much later came back at the radio heard YV4NN cq'n  CW gd copy not so strong but he also did not hear and faded out then all signals lost for 5 days. No more 4X1RF 50MHz decodes no tropo  nothing!
