CQWPXSSB

Only S&P    10M single band  low power 186Q     80030 point Not easy to get trough the pile ups   bad receiving  QRM  to big piles? Some operators had big piles but still gave there call every QSO  that was not making it easier for the ones behind the wall of S-E-Europe. Or some started new CQ  while in a big EU pile. 100W is absolute QRP power in the Phone world where every kW helps... best DX   VK7GN  VK2GWK  KG6DX There was a VK6   59  but  he must have had the attenuator in?   or listening on a Beverage? plus 2 VK4  heard only  WSPR has more activity in VK  Most QSO where with S.A.  the band was open to 20 UTC   no USA VE  or JA heard   highest QSO numer heard  P33W   6066 13:49 UTC !! and  5D5A 5134   13:06UTC real high numbers !

WSPR 70.091 GM4FVM

After some tries  with Jim  GM4FVM IO85WU 632km  finally  tonight we had good decodes ! Time for a good Wiskey to celebrate. Your new XVTR does a real good job. Also  1 decode by GW4WND to night  659km My XVTR is not as frequency stable as thought. I have to correct it day to day  50-100Hz   the local oscillator needs to be locked to the GPSDO too  to be real stable.

TONGA A35YZ

http://dl7df.com/a35yz/ Yesterday  worked them on 30m  tonight  on 40m very weak signal but they seem to hear very well and came back at 2nd call running 400W CW in a sloping dipole.  Could not hear them on 3504  at greyline   hope for another chance.

GPSDO 10MHz 50MHz 70MHz reference

Using the GPSDO 10MHz  7th harmonic  I have an excellent  frequency reference for the 70MHz XVTR. The 5th harmonic  will be on 50.00000 MHz exactly. If I can believe the Thunderbold monitor the 10MHz is  < 0.01 ppb exact.

WSPR DX-INDEX =ZERO Rusian DX test

RUSIAN DX CONTEST CW  together with BARTG RTTY Bands very bad  10m still closed in N-EU   even 15M poor. WSPR "DX index"  Not a single "DX"  counted in the 100 spots selected by distance  10M 80M 160M   been closed for days now. For my location "DX"  means to me: outside EU  4000km   To make an individual "DX index"  one have to set the level of "DX"  of course that is dependent of your location and  can not be an general valid  distance. WSPR 70.091 activity seems  to increase a bit No day passes without some PC issue  My  N1MM logger  PC a Dell Optiplex  had the annoying error to switch the monitor into a lower resolution  from 1680x1050 it should be for the Accer V223W   Now after reinstalling the 82945G intel driver the resolution does not fall back but the graphic card does not wake up from sleep.. In between the mouse cursor was jumping over the screen a...
