Have been busy to improve  receiving 137kHz  2200m. I got DCF39  now 70dB s/n sometimes 75 dB  that's as strong as our MW Broadcast stations 1008 and 747kHz Replaced the preamp IC by an LH005 op-amp tested some others we have some real expensive low bias FET op-Amps at QRL  like the LH005 AD549 I could test replacing the CA3041  some difference found in gain and IMD. the OPA124p gave to much IMD possible to much gain The best performer was the LH005  having not to much gain in the used ciquit. Found the K9AY is not good enough  for this bandThe inverted-L gives best s/n trying to decode  WE2XGR at 137.700  last night had the best receiving results until now. Wat zou je kunnen horen als je  terug kon gaan in de tijd voor de uitvinding van radio? Dat zou toch wel heel interessant zijn als het mogelijk was. Die gedachte heb ik soms als ik op de korte golf banden luister, vooral in het begin 1970 1980  de  jaren van de koude oorlog op de korte golf met mega sterke zenders. De middengolf vol met omroep waaronder zeer sterke zenders zoals radio Luxemburg 1,2 Mega Watt 100% modulatie de sterkste niet staats zender ooit? ZL9HR 15  21035   QSX  21045 +/- only heard Later 7030 very strong but  could not find the uplink and big E-EU wall Op 30m goed signaal kreeg een 599  hopelijk van de echte ZL9HR er zijn te veel lids actief Heel sterk op 40 en 20m  maar overal de bekende EU chaos en opzettelijke storingen. Inmiddels  40cw gelukt veel calls  lastig de QSX te vinden maar +2.6kHz  hoorde ik toch een echte QSO partner tussen alle dummy rapports en calls Het is een kunst om een pile up onder controle te houden. Maar wat ik vanmorgen op 20m phone hoorde was wel heel erg. Maar wat wil je ook, een DX-peditie met  phone  op 14200 kHz  het kanaal 14 van de korte golf. Je bent op een van de most wanted plaatsen op aarde. Je maakt  1 QSO  in 2 a 3 minuten   komt met onvolledige calls retour. Geeft niet duidelijk aan of je  nu op een frequentie focust of een bandje.  En dan vraag je "EU" please listen!  h...
