Tonight Sunday at 10.105 CW sudden it was easy 3 calls 10.1085 100W it can happen..
possible not so busy also on 60m FT8 it was easy
Hard to get in the log even with good good signals 0 -1 -4 in FT8 60m and 30m CW S7 no way
at 10.105 they where long time to 559 579 saying up
okay up but how up is up ? at 30m i can not hear any of the EU callers so no indication about where to call
up normally means +1 +2 but some cluster spots say +5 +7
so it is blind calling between 1000 DL SP I SV EA F south G all louder?
never knew that there are so many SP active at HF the row of SP seems endless
No response they keep working DL SP DL SP W DL SP EA endless
i heard their FT8 signal at 12m -14 but calling seems useless for me
Signals even in the FT8 window at 24.915 are rare these days
It was a short rare opening possible the only one but they where trying with a W and then faded.
even with the 3 el Steppir and ACOM1000 the pile or high QRM level? is hard to break
Some expedition can be worked relative easy others like VP8PJ are almost unworkable
So far I'm in the log at 80 40 20 17m and had an FT8 "QSO" at 15 but seems not in the log
is it important ? not really but i thought to have some chance with the 3ele good working Steppir and reasonable good dipoles 30 60 80m but no responce long long calling
A contact that takes 30 seconds in a contest now takes many hours calling an trying to figure out the operation pattern i must be gone nuts.
My i-L at 160m works well, the 160m experience is hearing is working
but nil at 160 until now.
Suffering every weekend storm winds this year
my new made almost full size 40m dipole is having hard times
I never received VP8PJ at 160m to my frustration my Beverage is not good in their QTF S-W
Saw VP8A calling in FT8 their last night although the next step sending a report was not seen here possible PJ was already packed.
The one time VP8PJ was reported CW 28.023 heard them short deep in noise not even Q5 in JO33hg
A few hundred km south JO21 JO20 reporting workable signal
Here using 3 ele Steppir
worked 80 40 30 20 15 12
