50MHz and 70MHz very quiet again no ES but... WSPR did report some tiny openings
that would otherwise not be noticed
Saturday morning a new DXCC despite very disappointing propagation for June.
70248 LY/SP7VC in KO06 could be worked in CW after patiently trying in CW
some weak scatter / short bursts almost constantly very weak heard Meg
Digimodes are not allowed in LY so it needs some propagation to complete.
But 10m was not bad in WSPR VK7AB VK2KRR many decodes again a fem SR in a row.
Found 15m is real open late in the night
including must be long path to JA and KH0
but the KH0 only wanted USA and ZL1OD was only listening for Italians.
So switched back to WSPR there am heard !
Tried extra 4m to G but no decodes yet no others active in EU!
4M WSPR is demanding extra stability and calibrated frequency of the rig
I still have the Trimble GPSDO running I connected the Thunderbolt monitor again over the serial port almost forgotten how to do that after 2 years that it is running.
The DSO monitor connected right away still running very stable software for a change.
I checked the 4m XVTR again against the 7th overtone at 70MHz it was within 10Hz at frequency
Lucky that the TCXO 42MHz and K3 are stable enough without need of external reference.
The GPS UTC was synchronous with the PC clock with Meinberg NTP
running 50W into a 5 element QTF U.K.
I was looking for DKARS contesters this weekend a brand new contest was born.
Nice initiative it is a try-out bands 40m - 6m
In the Field-day weekend.
I could not find the DKARS in N1MM+ latest version
only 12 QSO
nice to meet Willem WP4UX at 20m USB
every year we had one 6m QSO until now
6m ES is absent but It can return any time i hope...
Propagation short time prediction seems impossible
6m has been open SV2DH worked already deep in USA..
that seems total impossible for us as if the are using a total different propagation type.
In that respect Greece is already out of the EU...
WSPR clearly shows the differences in propagation between our location and more south EU

Ik zocht een transverter ontwerp en kwam deze tegen
van YO3DAC fantastisch ontwerp! low noise factor 1db met BPF650 ( 1 € !)
helaas geen print / of kit beschikbaar?
precies wat ik van een moderne transverter verwacht.
SMD en de schakeling gebruikt de delen voor zowel TX als RX inteligent ontwerp.
Dit is geen XVTR maar een komplete dual-band tranceiver voor USB / CW
Er moet een DDS AD9850 VFO bij maar daarvan vele ontwerpen te vinden inclusief
bouwpakketjes.
Dat lijkt me wel iets solar cycle 24 is over en de hoge banden zullen spoedig weer jarenlang voor DX gesloten zijn.
Wat de Koninksrijks contest betreft na de laatste idioot hoge belasting aanslagen is mijn
